Exercise
You cannot have a healthy body without exercise, I don't care what condition you're in, if you can move, you should move, otherwise we just rust like that sad bicycle you ditched in the garage all those years ago!
The trick to staying healthy as we age (and no matter if you're in your 80's or an infant, you're aging) is to do something you love. If you love it, you'll stick with it. Also, try new things, who knows, maybe it will be a new way to keep the body moving you didn't even know you'd like.
Here's an example: I took up golf when I was in my late 30's, I never thought I'd like it, and sometimes I really don't. But what I do love is getting outside on a nice day with people I enjoy, the rest is what it is. Kinda ugly, but I just keep at it. If you'd told me when I was a kid I'd be into golf, I'd have laughed in your face, but when you hit that perfect shot, it's kinda addicting.
So, what do you like to do for exercise? Figure it out and do it! None of this, "I'm too busy" or "I'm too tired", schedule time to do this and watch how much more productive you are, how much happier you are and are doing what you need to do live your best life!!

Benefits of Exercise on the Mind:
Helps with depression, anxiety, stress
Improved memory, sleep, energy
Boosts your self-esteem
Helps avoid disease as we age
If you do nothing else, I would highly suggest you stretch your muscles to keep you flexible, I love yoga, but if you can't get to the studio, just do as much as you can to make time to stretch at home. Start slowly, warm up first and pay attention to your body so you don't accidentally pull a muscle which will pretty much set you back and defeat the purpose!! https://www.healthline.com/health/benefits-of-stretching
What? NO time for exercise?
OK, I get it, you have a very busy life and you don't have time, here are a few ways to sneak it in:
You have time for shopping? Park far away and get a few extra steps in.
Take the stairs whenever you can!!
Sitting at a desk all day? Try stretching a bit while you're camped out on the chair, just maybe not on your company video conference call!
You can also so some isometric muscle contractions right in your chair
Got a lunch break? Don't spend all that time scarfing food, get a quick walk in, maybe a few squats or lunges too.
Love animals? Get a dog, they really need to be walked . . . . then you'll walk too!!
Do you live pretty close to work? Consider walking or riding your bike.
Do you have a yard? Get out there and do some gardening, you'd be surprised how much exercise you can get out of the hard work, plus now your yard looks lovely, right?
Do you just lounge in a floatie chair in the pool? Ditch the chair and either do some laps or tread water on the deep end.
Got kids? Go play with them, or take them on a stroll, just trying to keep up with their higher energy will help.
Love to dance? Turn on some music and let it gooooooo, good for body AND soul!!!!
Disclaimer: I am not a doctor or trainer, but I have been exercising my whole life and think the benefits are worth the time. Please consult with a physician or exercise professional for more information before starting any exercise regime.
